Branch Austin McCormick is a boutique law firm based in St James’s in central London, specialising in advice for individuals and business.
We deliver a partner-led service that covers various aspects of both personal and commercial law. We offer a full service, including commercial property, corporate law, divorce and family law, dispute resolution, employment, immigration, residential conveyancing and wills and probate.
For us, our clients are not just another case number or file.
We get to know you and take the time to understand your unique needs, no matter how personal, so that we can represent and protect them properly. We work hard to tailor solutions which take into account each client’s concerns and priorities.
With many years of combined experience, our partners and the wider team are highly skilled in offering professional legal services. Our Heritage
The origins of our firm go back over 450 years to Pickering Kenyon, a firm that is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest law firm in the world dating back to 1561. Pickering Kenyon was the only law firm in England ever entitled to bear arms and the ornate letters patent granting armorial bearings may be found in our offices. Our firm was formed in 1990 by three of Pickering Kenyon’s partners – Messrs Lass, Salt and Garvin.
Together with our long history and our established roots, we pride ourselves on being a forward-looking law firm, focused on meeting the needs of our clients.

We will take the time to speak with you on an initial call, at no charge. Once we have established that we can assist you, we will provide you with a clear understanding of the fee and costs arrangement in your case, costs and advise you on our next steps.
